Don't need cooked chicken the craven can and should be cooked with the soup. Tin can swap chick goop for cubes and water. I added four times the carrots. Excellent and easy!
02/25/2005
fantastic soup!I used ii boxes of Swansons Organic Chicken Broth along with 4 cups of chicken stock instead of the chicken boulillon and water. Added a small purse of frozen white corn. too, i used a whole store bought rotisserie chicken instead of merely chopping up cooked craven meat. I placed the whole chicken in to the pot when adding the veggies, spices, and broth and simmered it all for 30 minutes like the recipe says to do. Then removed the whole chicken from the pot and removed the meat from the bird then placed the meat back in to the pot of soup. I've had and so many complements on this recipe information technology is unbelievable. Everyone says it'south the Best craven soup they have e'er had. Thanks so much for this wonderful piece of cake recipe!

This was so good...I sauteed the celery and onions as directed then threw everything into the crockpot and cooked it on low for most vii hours.. I didnt have any egg noodles so the final 20 minutes of cooking I bankrupt upwardly pieces of lasagna noodles and threw them in..It was great!!.. I served it with grilled cheese sandwhiches and it took me dorsum to when I was a child and my grandmother fabricated the same meal for me... Kiki (Brampton,ON Canada)

Succulent soup! I put all ingredients in crockpot except noodles, simmered for vi-7 hours, turned to high then added a handbag of Reames frozen noodles. Admittedly wonderful!
03/02/2003
Very tasty! On my second fourth dimension around I added twice equally many carrots and one-half the butter then it wasn't equally greasy. I too used boneless chicken thighs. Excellent!
01/19/2002
this recipe was piece of cake for a guy who merely cooks while the married woman is at work. i added an undiluted tin of cream of chicken soup and a tin of cream of celery soup. she not merely raved near it but she froze the leftovers and fabricated some other meal of it a few days later.

This recipe is delicious and very easy to make. You can substitute left over turkey in place of the craven for something unlike. This is a keeper and will be role of my recipe file for a long time. Thank you Sherry!

So easy to make! My mom has ever made homemade craven noodle soup, only doesn't go past a recipe. I've been wanting to go far for my fiance and this is pretty close. My fiance loved it! He said it was but as good, if not better. I also fabricated some modifications. The main i being that I used my crock pot instead. It cooked for almost 4 1/2 hours, but could go all day, I'm sure. I cut the recipe to serve 7 because I only have a modest crock pot, and information technology fit perfectly! I too boiled 3 boneless/skinless chicken breasts and shredded it with a fork instead of chopping. And I didn't apply the bay leaf or parsley because I didn't have any on hand. :) Note that the goop may await a little watery--my fiance and I both thought so--only he tried it and it tasted crawly. (I'm a vegetarian, and so I can't taste test :) But of form, it all depends on your personal taste.

Very wonderfull! I did brand some changes such as using chicken broth instead of cubes. I likewise used two cups of celery, 1 i/two cups of carrots and added one/2tsp of oregeno and one/2 tsp of poultry seasoning, 1 total medium onion, also used rotisserie chicken and I remember it makes a huge contribution to the soup. My brothers son admittedly loved it. He ate iii bowls of it and he never eats that much of whatsoever nutrient that we have ever seen. I volition be making this oftentimes! Oh, I did increase the cooking time to roughly 2-2 one/ii hours.
12/03/2007
Dandy soup! Added 4x the carrots (1cup) and 2x the onion (i/2cup) and used 1/2 tsp parsley and 1/2 tsp oregano. Family loved it.
02/02/2008
This soup was And then delicious! It's worth the time to used the boiled chicken recipe on this site. I took the advice of others and cooked the soup for a little longer equally well and used almost all chicken goop instead of water, this gives it such a hearty flavor. I besides doubled the carrots and celery and I used linguine noodles because that'southward all I had on hand. I'm sure any noodles would work. Thank you for a delicious chicken noodle soup recipe that I volition keep forever!
03/20/2008
I have made this a number of times and it is smashing, last night information technology was for my sick married man. I used 8 cups of swanson reduced sodium chicken broth with 4 cups of water. I also added a tin can of cream of chicken along with some minced garlic and a picayune oregano. At the end I used fresh chopped parsley and some sliced green onion. Served along with some bisquick biscuits and he was a happy camper!
02/01/2012
perfect for my Tedious-Cooker. here's what I adjusted: I used half dozen cups of water instead of 12, and used 6 tsp of Improve than Boullion (chicken flavor). I used only one-half the stale herb and spices (I used the smallest bay leaf I had). I used unsalted butter, and did not have to add together any boosted salt. I add all of those ingredients to the slow cooker at the get-go, and cooked on low heat for 8 hours. I used Whole Wheat Egg Noodles, which I added at the last 40 minutes of cooking. SOOOO YUMMY! And so simple. I will definitely make this again!!
12/05/2007
If you lot are looking for a quick and easy but still homemade soup this is it. I take made this soup and then many times for family unit and friends when they are ill that people are actually requesting information technology! I similar to bake the chicken with some Natures Seasoning and also substitute four cups of h2o w/ two cans of Chicken Broth, and then I add some boullion cubes due west/ the rest of the water. I give this recipe 5 stars because I have establish no 1 who doesn't enjoy it.
09/13/2012
Delicious! My intention was to make this for my daughter during a stomach bug. I used seven boullion cubes and followed everything else pretty much exactly. Information technology'south not bland simply the flavor is fragile and was perfect for a get-well-soon meal!
ten/eighteen/2005
Um. Don't know where to begin. This soup wasn't good. It tasted like canned chicken noodle soup, and that's non a compliment. I adopt stock or goop, and fifty-fifty canned/boxed is better than boullion cubes!! I likewise cannot believe the butter (why on world butter I don't know). Anyway, I was looking for a quick recipe for hubby to make and this was Not information technology. not proficient!!
03/thirteen/2006
This soup was amazing. I fabricated several adjustments after reading a handful of other craven soup recipes. I substitued craven goop for the water and the bouillon cubes. I doubled the vegetables and noodles which were whole wheat. I put in some greenish onions, fresh parsley, whole garlic cloves, and poultry seasoning. Information technology had cracking flavor and wonderful consistency.
03/28/2005
This is a great soup. I get everything but the noodles prepared and in my tedious cooker before heading to piece of work; then when I get home, I put the egg noodles in for about 10 minutes and we are set to sit down and relish this succulent recipe. It's a keeper that'south oftentimes made for my family.
11/twenty/2008
I love this soup. I can't assistance but feel a little annoyed that the nearly highly rated review starts with "non skillful". Obviously the use of chicken bouillon is a affair of personal gustation. A lot of people don't like it- they recall it'south too salty too artificial tasting ect.... I'll admit, I felt a bit uneasy well-nigh using information technology. And I was pleasantly suprised with the upshot. The butter, veggies, seasonings, chicken and burgoo cubes all meld into a mild and wonderful broth. I've fabricated this several times and the only issue I have when making this is the amount of noodles. I use homemade egg noodles and they tend to absorb a lot of broth. I time I added 12 oz. of noodles. Big mistake. I had chicken and noodles not soup. The called for 8 oz. is plenty and depending on the blazon of noodles used peradventure even too much. Overall this soup is first-class and and then quick and easy. Five stars!
10/30/2009
Very very proficient. It was my first fourth dimension making chicken noodle soup from scratch, and I followed a lot of "StacyB1967"s suggestions, since she raved so much. I boiled a whole chicken using this website's "Boiled Chicken" recipe by George. Then I used three cups of stock from that boiled chicken, and 9 cups regular water for the soup, every bit Stacy suggested. (Next fourth dimension I'll do about half stock, half h2o - that stock was skillful.) I doubled everything she suggested we double in the recipe, except for the butter. The amount of butter originally suggested is plenty to saute the celery and onions. The but affair it needs is a little table salt. I added i teaspoon of salt at the cease, and that did the fob. And then merely dash on a scrap more than everytime y'all pour yourself a bowl (who doesn't do that?), and information technology'due south perfect. It tastes even better the second and third days! I think information technology really helped to nip my cold in the bud, as well. Thank yous for the great recipe... and to "StacyB1967" for sharing her suggestions.
11/thirty/2009
I doubled the carrot and onion, added potatoes (why not), and used fresh ground peppercorns instead of ground black pepper. Much better flavor! Since I didn't have marjoram or parsley on manus, I used basil and oregano instead. Also replaced the egg noodles with some mixed wild rice. I ended upwardly with a lovely craven rice soup! Mmmm.
12/21/2010
I beloved this soup and then does my family. Here is what I did a bit differently: instead of the bouillon and water, I used two 48 ounce containers of craven broth (with extra for thinning the soup later), I added one cup of carrots and 1 cup of chopped onion. I substituted the egg noodles for one 12 ounce parcel of Reames frozen Homestyle noodles. I kept the spices the same except added ii bay leaves. I likewise added extra pepper. My college historic period son is clamoring for me to give him this recipe to take back to higher with him....a real sign of approving in my book!
03/03/2010
Marjoram!!! I'm giving this five stars considering it introduced me to marjoram. It is the flavour I've been searching for. I didn't follow this recipe exactly, I added garlic and sauteed information technology with the onion and left out the bay leaf and used real craven broth, merely the marjoram is the primal, and now I add it to many soups... anything with veggies (information technology's wonderful in split pea, too!). I'm and so happy to have finally used this spice!!
12/01/2002
Wow! I made this two days subsequently Thanksgiving with the leftovers and it was astonishing! I didn't take any butter left, so I used oil and I as well didn't have whatever bay leaf, so I left information technology out. I thought there was a piffling too much chicken, and so I doubled the veggies and information technology was good. Will make once again!
03/08/2008
So easy and then good! I added iv cups of chicken stock on summit of the 12 cups of water since I doubled the noodles. I also used a cup of carrots instead of 1/four cup and a little garlic pulverization. Thanks to the admirer who suggested the tin of foam of chicken soup. It was the perfect improver. Husband and kids loved information technology! Bravo on this recipe!!!
10/14/2002
I'll never become back to canned soup once again!!!! My married man raved!!!
09/17/2008
This would have been so crawly had it non been so salty! I used 6 bouillon cubes, rather than nine and it was still toooo salty! Other than that, it was easy. I might make again using less cubes.
01/30/2001
Soup is my son's favorite food. For his birthday he requested that I brand Chicken Noodle Soup, so I fabricated this recipe. He thought it was first-class.
08/01/2002
this soup tasted so skilful. My husband had a horrible common cold, and he loved this. My 2 twelvemonth old also liked it, he is incommunicable to please. Thanks
01/09/2011
Good soup. I used 1/4 celery table salt instead of celery (didn't take any). I also used i/two T onion pulverisation instead of an onion. Added iii C carrots, 3 potatoes, & 3 C turkey (instead of craven). Added 1 extra chicken bullion cube & ane extra C h2o.
09/07/2001
I was too ill to become to the store and so I figured I would endeavor to brand my own chicken noodle soup. I didn't have a clue how but establish this recipe. Give thanks you!!! It was SUPER easy and DELICIOUS!!! It cured my cold and pleased my friends and family, too. I will go far again and I accept passed the recipe on to many others. The but negative I encountered was the lack of spices. Yet, I adopt my cooking recipes to be that way. I feel taste is unique to every individual and therefore, anybody tin add together their own spices to suit their tastes. Also, instead of cutting individual vegetables, I used frozen soup-prepare vegetables (ii small bags). It made for an even easier recipe!
03/12/2007
Yummy! Simple, wholesome comfort food! Will exist making this 1 frequently in the future.
09/nineteen/2014
This is simply the fashion my mother taught me and I've been making this soup for over 55 years, my simply departure is to boil my noodles separately till washed then add them to the soup (in the bowl) , information technology prevents the soup from beingness cloudy. If I have left over soup for the adjacent night I once again boil the noodles I need, this keeps the left-over soup from becoming overly thick and unappetizing looking. Call up this is chicken soup not cream of chicken.
03/19/2011
quintessenial chicken noodle soup recipe! no need to modify, just season to your tastes, add together more or less veggies every bit desired.
03/24/2008
Superb recipe!! Followed just as stated and came out wonderful. Full bodies and very tasty. Thanks for sharing.
12/ten/2011
Made this when the family unit had the flu and information technology was very very proficient. Left out the celery and used celery flakes instead since It was what I had.
11/21/2005
I have always made my craven noodle soup from scratch but didn't really have a recipe then it always came out different. I followed this recipe to a "T" except I boiled chicken thighs with the boullion and deboned and chopped it and used the stock as my base. I also added a cut up zuchinni and summer squash. The seasonings were correct on the mark. My family REALLY loved it (including my mother-in-police:) This i is a definte keeper!
ten/12/2000
This is a bully homemade soup. I doubled the carrots and celery and also added poultry seasoning which gave information technology much more flavor! Information technology hardly compares with canned soup.
11/26/2000
It was piece of cake. I switched the chicken for left over Thanksgiving turkey and information technology was swell! My husband fifty-fifty liked it and he is very picky.
01/20/2008
Very simple and very succulent. I subbed Swanson chicken broth for all the burgoo cubes and h2o, it was but easier that way. It still was excellent.
01/21/2008
I take fabricated this recipe MANY times. Information technology's Cracking when you're feeling under the atmospheric condition. Merely problem is that when YOU'RE sick y'all simply want your ain chicken noodle soup and you lot're as well ill to go far! Just some notes: Instead of egg noodles I utilize stir-fry rice noodles. I've made it both ways and the family likes the rice noodles MUCH better. For the chicken, the night earlier I throw boneless chix breast in a crock pot and also a few bone in drums& thighs with chicken goop overnight on low. Next day the meat merely falls off the bone. I similar the extra flavor of bone-on craven. You lot can also make extra batches of this and freeze. Just be sure to freeze the portions without the noodles in. Bask!
11/12/2006
I was searching for a chicken soup recipe and came beyond this one. It is now the simply recipe I apply. Very Skilful! My family actually loves this soup! Thanks!
02/17/2011
This is my FAVORITE craven noodle soup recipe! I make this every single fourth dimension one of united states of america gets ill- cold, flu- whatsoever- and everytime it seems to become us feeling better fast. The only matter I do differently is I cook the chicken in the oven before I throw it in the pot. Don't ask why, I just ever have.
03/19/2003
My beau loved it. I besides put in more of everything.
02/18/2003
I've been wanting to brand soup merely like my dad makes it and this takes the cake for a match! Whole family enjoyed it and was quickly full. Also tasty equally a left-over. Volition definitely recommend this one!
01/25/2003
Wonderful recipe. Side by side time I will increase the amount of carrots and celery though and mayhap add poultry seasons for a scrap spicier taste. Only this recipe is definitely a keeper.
02/09/2003
Excellent recipe. I added an extra one/4 c. carrots and a petty salt. The family simply loved it and information technology took abroad the wintertime chills! Thanks-information technology'south a keeper!
01/eleven/2008
I absolutely dear this soup! This is definitely my favorite soup I've tried from this website. I've fabricated information technology a dozen times in the past few months. It'southward quick, easy and oh and then tasty! Thanks
04/02/2003
Information technology was all correct. I made some changes and maybe that's why I thought information technology wasn't a 5-star recipe. Or maybe craven soup is too bland for my palate.
08/30/2009
Dandy recipe i did use broth in place of h2o. Information technology tast alot like campbell'south soup. the whole family loved it.
02/02/2012
Made this exactly equally printed. Very tasty! Next fourth dimension I will add the dried parsley closer to the end of cooking time so information technology stays bright green. Will make over again and again.
09/27/2000
I agree that this is a very practiced soup for beginners:) Nosotros swallow a TON of bootleg soups so this was a piffling banal for me. Not enough flavoring. Reminded me of a canned chicken and noodle soup.
ten/26/2012
I wasn't feeling well and looked for an easier recipe than the one I usually apply. Normally I follow directions exactly merely I had to add together more spices. This was a good dish.
03/xiv/2006
I love this recipe. I like to freeze the soup minus the noodles, and add together them fresh subsequently. So long soggy noodles, lol!
10/thirty/2007
Oh, this is and so expert. I used 4 boneless uncooked chicken breasts. I only cubed them and put them in the broth. Omitted the carrots, every bit I did'nt take whatsoever. Also didn't take any marjoram. I think information technology was nifty, and will be making it once more
11/02/2008
An absolute favorite for my family unit! We come back to this one time and time again.
08/21/2011
Doubled the recipe. Used rotisserie chicken, dropping the whole chicken into the soup for about 45 minutes before shredding it. Used 2 boxes of chicken broth and 4 cups of water instead of the bullion. Added 1tsp white pepper, one/two tsp chipotle chili pepper, chopped garlic and a pocketbook of frozen peas. Added sixteen oz of egg noodles, could have but added half that corporeality. Very tasty!!
02/26/2013
I thought it was fantastic. I used a trivial less craven bouillon simply other than that information technology was quick and easy.
04/xviii/2007
Fantabulous and like shooting fish in a barrel. I used a store bought rotisserie chicken and fresh marjoram. I also doubled the veggies. Even my fussy four year onetime loved it.
eleven/03/2013
Look no further! This is THE Craven Noodle Soup Recipe! Actually enjoyed this. I did however make the fault of adding too many noodles and they sucked up a lot of the broth, it was still bang-up!!! Nifty flavor! This made a lot. Adjacent time (unless its for a party) I volition endeavour freezing half before calculation the noodles, every bit some other reviewer suggested. I made the recipe every bit is except for using Swanson's chicken broth instead of the h2o and bullion cubes. I think the veggies need doubled as well, just my preference. Great wintertime recipe!!!!
03/sixteen/2003
After 30 + yrs. I finally made a soup my hubby loved.
01/xx/2001
Very tasty and cracking on a cold winter nighttime. :)
03/25/2013
Bang-up yet elementary recipe. I could never become soups right. Only this was a great foundation. I fabricated a smaller batch and so I simply used 2 1/two Knorr craven boullon cubes and added cabbage and Goya noodles. Absolutely tasty. Will definitely do once more.
01/26/2012
My daughter loved this soup! A keeper. The only affair I inverse was I did not have egg noodles in the house so I added cooked pasta. My girl does not want me to purchase canned chicken soup ever again.
12/06/2005
This soup came together in a snap. I used a whole rotisserie chicken from the deli, omitted the marjoram, added a bit of poultry seasoning, and used i box of chicken stock and 2 of broth and it was excellent with no-yolk noodles. Information technology makes a ton of soup, so if you're making it for just a couple people, either scale information technology down or be prepared to freeze some!
x/06/2007
Loved it- a truly warm and filling soup when yous don't feel well and need a little tlc! I take made this countless times now and have never had a bad batch. I season the chicken very lightly with seasoning salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Adobo seasoning before frying a pan with 1 TBS of Olive oil until no longer pinkish. I don't think I take ever really measured the veggies, I just add together them until I think it will be enough! *I use the garlic and herb Craven broth and you merely cannot become wrong!! I have too used the veggie craven broth and it came out great as well. Nonetheless if you use these, Do NOT add salt! Definitely a recipe I will contine to use forever!
04/13/2008
I did non like this at all. I found information technology way as well salty. Maybe if I had used chicken broth instead of the burgoo cubes it would accept been amend.
01/28/2003
Simple, quick, and tastes like it was fabricated from scratch!
12/xviii/2007
It was succulent!! I'm not much of a soup eater, but I had ii bowls of this and my husband had three! Information technology was a nice treat on a very cold day. I'm giving it four stars b/c information technology needed a trivial doctoring up. I volition say that for 12 cups of water we used the water we boiled the craven in . (minus the yucky stuff-nosotros skimmed information technology out!) We as well used 12 oz of noodles, b/c we only felt like 8 wasn't enough. After tasting information technology we added extra bouillon. Adjacent time nosotros program to double the carrots. Although we made all these changes it was still a delicious soup to commencement with!
12/15/2006
The best chicken noodle soup I have always had! It was extremely easy to brand, and I have never fabricated a soup before. My married woman and I love to accept this Sunday afternoons now that its cold out. I save the remainder for my dejeuner at work, information technology reheats extremely well! Nosotros recollect information technology goes great paired with a french baguette.
10/24/2009
Really good soup..particularly when you are feeling the flu symptoms. I will make information technology again!
01/01/2008
OMG!!!! We love this recipe - I added more noodles than what was asked for, only we're noodle crazy at my home. Even my husband likes it and that's saying a lot. I love winter!! When else tin can you make something this wonderful.
eleven/08/2006
Very, very expert. I too used the boiled chicken recipe on this site to set up the chicken earlier manus and added a few cups of broth from that instead of all h2o. I retrieve it added a lot of flavor to the soup.
12/29/2011
likewise salty, only if you lot cutting the number of bouillon cubes in half it would be much better... besides, next time i will use pulled chicken instead, i'm not a fan of cubed craven in my soup.
12/05/2002
I cut some fourth dimension by only using a pre-roasted craven from the store(Approx 2.5lbs). Used the whole affair(-bones). Worked corking!!
05/27/2007
I actually enjoyed using this recipe for my sick wife she perked upwards the moment she could smell it cooking.
12/10/2002
Fantabulous all around recipe. The only thing I did different was using canned craven broth instead of the boullion cubes. I likewise omitted the celery, mine, having been in the fridge awhile, looked likewise anemic to use! Thanks.
04/25/2010
I didn't have any broth in the closet and was happy to find this recipe. A word of alert - the bullion cubes I used had MSG, which ended up giving my partner a headache. I don't mind a bit of MSG in a dish, but this soup ended up having too much.
12/04/2007
This was only OK for me. It seemed like at that place was something missing. I might try it again but tweak it for my own gustation.
09/10/2007
This recipes is awesome! Just like Grandma but she says information technology'south improve! I do add together more carrots than listed.
02/03/2001
My kids really enjoyed this soup, and they are rather picky eaters. I added some poultry seasoning to requite it a little extra flavor.
ten/thirteen/2005
A very easy and tasty basic repast. SOUPER on cold moisture fall days! 3/iv cup of barley in place of the noodles gives it a heartier substance. I added some leftover corn to this recipe. It would easily take many other veggies as well.
10/eighteen/2007
I have been searching for the perfect chicken noodle soup recipe for years, and with some modifications to this recipe I institute it! I doubled the amount of herbs the recipe called for, tripled the amount of veggies, added grilled diced reddish peppers, used chicken broth instead of bouillon, and added 1.five teaspoons of ginger. WONDERFUL! My husband ranted and raved! My two toddlers gobbled it upward without even noticing the veggies. A cracking base recipe - Thanks!
09/27/2009
This is a skillful base of operations recipe but, like others, I added a few things. Commencement, I boiled a whole chicken in water and added 2 cans of Swanson'due south craven broth (likewise a little bouillon granules to taste). I sauted the vegetables with i-2 cloves of garlic and so added everything to a crock-pot (minus the egg noodles). Nearly 40 minutes prior to serving, I added Reames Noodles to the crockpot and served with warm multi-grain french bread!!! Delicious
02/02/2011
Very good!!
10/15/2002
Yummy soup, I make all the time with modest changes-no marjoram, add poultry seasoning instead. I also add a handfull of frozen peas, and a handfull of frozen corn when adding the noodles. I as well triple the carrots, and utilise low salt Swanson's broth in the box. Brand it whenever someone has a cold......information technology works!
09/26/2000
This was the first time I ventured into making soup myself. Every bit a 26yr erstwhile bachelor, I was amazed that I could make information technology happen. This recipe fabricated it easy. And tasty.
11/02/2002
Corking recipe, very filling, freezes well
06/xix/2008
I idea this was a skilful recipe. Nothing particularly special, only still good. My daughter (four) loved it and asks for information technology often--she likes to dip staff of life in the juice while she eats it. I like to employ a couple of rotisserie chickens from Walmart for my chicken. I just peel the breast meat off and cutting it up.
12/05/2002
Great soup! I used alphabet pasta considering my kids were asking for alphabet soup. I also had some very cheap craven legs so I boiled them and so removed the pare and pulled the meat from the basic and used that. Very tasty!
02/25/2013
Very uncomplicated. Very delicious! Swell for a dank night such as this evening. No major varying from the original recipe. Used a leftover homemade roasted craven from the night earlier. I did double the veggies listed 'cuz we like good 'northward' chunky soup, and I also used homemade chicken bone broth instead of water and bouillon cubes. Os broth adds loads more nutrients to the mix and far less sodium than bouillon or shop bought broths. I just had to add together some garlic tho' 'cuz we're garlic lovers and can't get enough of information technology.
05/20/2008
OMG this is soooo good! I switched things up a piddling though. I took 15 cups of water, added half dozen buillon cubes, half an onion, and pepper. Brought that to a boil, and once the chicken was washed I removed it and let it absurd. Then I skimmed all the "cream" off the top of the pots, added the celery, carrots, onion, and the spices. I did add 3 cloves of garlic though. It came out soo good!!! I had a common cold when I made it, and information technology hit the spot! Thanks for sharing!!
03/29/2006
Super piece of cake. I served this at an informal lunch and it was so practiced that I served information technology for dinner that night! I gave it 4 stars considering I used craven goop instead of bouillon like others suggested and added garlic. I also used a rotisserie craven. I call up information technology was the marjoram that made the difference though. It does make a lot!!
09/fifteen/2005
This soup came out so skillful. I made a few modifications, but nothing major. I used chicken goop instead of the water/boullion combination. I also added some spinach to the soup. It was delicious and I volition definitely go on this recipe.
02/05/2009
This is a great recipe. I increased the amount of vegetables and used depression-sodium chicken broth instead of chicken boullions. Lastly, I used the craven from a cafeteria rotissere chicken and I feel information technology really helped give a homemade broth taste.
01/24/2003
This recipe is splendid!! I made it for our family and a neighbor who was ill and everyone loved information technology. I increased the carrots to ane/two loving cup, but the next time I will add together even more.
ten/19/2005
Actually adept! I'll make this over again, it was simple and succulent.

Very uncomplicated and delicious! the only affair I changed was boiled a whole chicken cut in pieces in 12c of h2o after craven was washed I deboned the chicken and continued with the residuum of the ingredients without the chicken burgoo or butter, I merely put the onion, carrots,& celery in the humid water.
